Dino, I spent a few hours today in my picture archives……….I have over 100 sorted out with a brief description on the back. Maybe 20 of my suff and another 20 of some Bob Ingles cars but there are some that for you will really bring it all home……I gave up on this scanner crap and I am entrusting to you what is left of my prize photo colection. If you could do what you do with them and send the photos back to me……Let me know if this is OK with you…………Don………
Bring ’em On Don …Well take care of them…While I’m at ..still have a few to scan & return of others ….they’re safe & sound…thumb & holidays kind of slowed up things. If anybody else has prints to send …we have a new schedule and back up help to ‘Get uR Done’
Ah yes , I remember it well…We were at the Wedge Inn, the Camaro was on my flatbed and I swore I would not take it off the truck and run it on the street….Well one word led to another and I unloaded it to run Morris from Mt. Vernon who had a Buick with a Chev big block with the juice . We lined up under the bridge (on the Hutch) the flagman dropped and we ran to the end of the storm fence (approx a 1/4 mi.) I just inched him out, Won $500 but when I pulled off at the Orchard Beach exit my flatbed was there with the bed down but so were 4 NYPD cars…….The whole ordeal cost me about $900 so I still lost money……But you know what It was fun and I’d do it all over again………I loved street racing more then the track…………Don………
