JOHN I HAD TO THINK ABOUT THIS MY TWO PARTNERS WERE DON TAYLOR NOW DECEASED AND STEVE BIEZER WHO I HAVE NOT SEEN OR HEARD FROM IN OVER 40 YEARS.HAVE NO IDEA WHERE HE IS.WE RAN A 401 BUICK MOTOR IN THE HENRY J IN 1962 ONLY. IT HAD SO MUCH TORQUE IT TWISTED THE NOSE OF THE TRANNY OFF.IT HAPPENED SO MANY TIMES THAT WE DECIDED TO CHANGE THE MOTOR IN 1963.WHEN BONES SPUN THE BEARINGS IN HIS 426 MAX WEDGE LATE 1962 OR EARLY 1963 WE MADE A DEAL WITH HIM FOR THE MOTOR AND THE TRANNY. WE BOUGHT HIM A 318 WITH THE TRANNY. WE TOOK THE 426 WE REDID IT AND PUT IN THE HENRY J AND RAN A GAS TILL THE END OF 1965. SOLD THE MOTOR IN 1972 TO MY FRIEND JIMMY H. HE USED IT IN A TRUCK AND A COUPLE OF CARS .IN 92 OR 93 HE CAME LOOKING FOR THE TRANNY AND I STILL HAD IT . HE REDID A 1963 PLYMOUTH AND THE ENGINE AND TRANNY ARE IN IT.ITS STILL GOING STRONG.HE COMES TO THE DOVER REUNION AT MARCUS DAIRY IN DANBURY WITH THE CAR. IF I FORGOT ANYTHING FILL IT IN YOU KNOW IM GETING OLD C.R.S. LOL
