    427wagon

        Hi,
A few years ago I attended a car show in Rhinebeck, NY and bought a black 1966 chevy impala wagon with a 427 and 4 speed. I believe it was drag raced. When I bought it, there was a Dover Drag Strip racing tag hanging from the rearview mirror. Also there have been a few people at car show who have approached me and said they recognized the car. I was just looking for any info on the car, stories about it, and also pictures of it. I will try to post recent pictures of the car. Since I bought it, the car has had a full restoration. I am very pround of it.
        Thanks in advance,
        Jeff

It’s possible that they thought that but there have been people who have even metioned the guy I bought the car from. I’m interested in what happened to the car in the second picture. The one Bosco Bancroft raced in 68,69 and 70. Anyone now any info on that? Or can anyone else think of another car?
                Thanks

I know I’ll sound like a dummy, but was Valentines car the “Pied Piper”, or was that another one. There was a guy from Newburgh or Montgomery that ran a Big block wagon, but not all the time. ……………..Mikey 😆
