Info and photos of all the cars Rudy built…63-65..WHERE DID THEY ALL GO ? Heres Cindy(His Wifes) info on them:
“The Coupe w/trophies belonged to Steve Chisarik, who raced around that time – but not sure those trophies were from that car – both Steve and Rudy raced late model (well – late THEN!!!) Chevy’s.( see win sticker photo)
This is what I can tell you about the blue Crosley in our photos – Rudy bought it from someone’s backyard as a complete rusty yellow car, took it apart and rebuilt it from the chassis up, all ready for the engine and drive train, inside and out. (That was his forte.) He sold it to George Schrade, and I’m quite sure George finished it and raced it, don’t know what became of it after that. . The yellow car in the photos was built for Vinny Beltrone, and the white one,(Anglia) I’m pretty sure for Doug Tippitt. We lived in Trumbull at the time, and most of the racing buddies were from Trumbull, Stratford, Bridgeport area
