Hello,
My name is John Newton and I currently own a 1967 Mustang coupe which I purchased from Ed Lockwood about five years ago. On the car there are win stickers from Dover dragstrip from the years 1973 & 1974 at that time I believe the car was painted yellow ( currently the car is medium
blue) and has a black vinyl top. Would you be able to tell me any of the racing history of the car? I often attended races there with my older brother and have many great memories. I am also planning on bringing and racing the car at the race at Lebanon Valley. Thank for your help.

I’m digging,,,,,
if its 1973, was the 1967 Mustang Hardtop Coupe running stock class ‘semi pure stock’,,,,,,,,,,,,
or Super/Stock.
If the car was a standard 289/225HP 4-barrel,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,than it would be classed in SS/M or SS/MA.
If it was a ‘K” Code, 289/271HP ‘HiPo’,,,,,,,,,then it would be classed in SS/J or SS/JA.
Was it an Automatic or 4-speed.
There was a 1967 Mustang Hardtop Coupe, out of Mahopac, New York.
Not sure of the owners name,,,,,,,,,but was always at the Mobil Station in the village on Route 6.
Light brown/tan, with a white vinyl top that ran in SS/MA in 1973 and 1974.
Had several class winner decals,,,,,,
