Sad to hear the passing of John,S/S Pete, like me,he was a Willys ‘gasser’ nut, with mechanical skills that showed, when he came to Dover to run, always pulling up the front wheels every time! May he R.I.P.

I live down the street from john, didnt get to know him till the past several years, but always remember seeing an old corvette in the driveway, being restored,i didnt get to see him in his drag race days, but he had the greatest photos of the 38 willys gasser the little hoodlum, which he built, and wild drag race stories, but most of all john was a very kind ,friendly person, always ready to help out, glad i was lucky enough to be his friend, we will miss you john.
