Lou’s diner, colchester, Ct.

Anyone remember Lou’s diner in Colchester,Ct.? We used to stop there on the way to the drags. It was run
by Lou with Ma and Billy. I remember it had great burgers, and a pinball machine when you walked in. We had
some serious games on it before the races, haha. I’m told it is now called Herman’s. When I went on google maps,
I typed in Rte. 85 & 354. Hit street view, turned the arrow 180 degrees and went up rte. 354 ( new London
road) on the right of the fork and saw Herman’s on the left. It sure looked like Lou’s. They say It’s been there
about 80 years, so it could be the old place. They have great breakfasts there I’m told. If anyone has any info
if this is the same place, i would appreciate any reply. Thanks.
