Lyn Slocum Massiello
My parents property was adjacent to the drag strip property. every sunday morning, the noise woke me up. everyone went in through our pumpkin or corn field for free. It was wonderful
Tom Mullen
they always let me go through the front gate for free when i was a kid…that was a big deal for us back then …
Michael Peck
From New Milford, Ct went there alot, remember seeing Miss STP Funny Car, Don Garlits, Al Hoffman run there and more!
Brian Estes
Wes Bunns! Anybody remember Wes and his Funny Cars? How about Color me gone! Or House of speed from Danbury? Those guys had some great cars!

Some of you guys This won’t apply to and Hey …I still can’t figure out Twitter
Isn’t a twitter when your left leg can,t hold that Shiefer racing clutch in any longer 😆 😆 😆
Pat
PAT ! I almost wet the keyboard 😆 😆 😆 Its really how Elmer fudd calls Roy Rogers horse.
Everywhere I look nowadays,75% of kids are giving there thumbs an extreme workout on there cell phones, texting away! I don’t know if ‘twittering’ is the same ? I guess it’s a modern day ‘fad’ there going through (alot of adults also). The only thing that ‘bugs’ me is most are paying more attention to there cell phone texting away, rather than there surroundings.possibly causing a problem to themselves,or others.Any event….those who ‘twitter’…Enjoy!
V Bob (if your ‘really’ serious),the diagram looks like the 2 rear tires go to the ‘front’ (staying on the ‘same’ sides) they are. Then the left front tire, goes on the right rear, and the left front tire, goes on the right rear.Hope your not ‘spoofing’ us….are ya ❓ 🙄 😆
Opps! I typed too fast, without checking Bob,the ‘left’ front tire, goes on the right rear, and the ‘right’ front tire, goes on the left rear (that’s better!).I’m using ‘ole’ age,as an excuse, and I’m sticking to it ❗ 😳
HEY
Pete,BIG HELP you are!!!!
OH, what if you have a duelie?
‘V’
O.k. Brian M. time to ‘step up to the plate’ and answer his question on ‘dually’ truck tire rotation. Your an experienced big truck (with dual rear tires) driver.I’m putting this in reverse, and letting you give V Bob,the ‘correct’ answer…..Brian,your on ❗ 😆
You rotate the front tires side to side in the front, and you do the same to the rears. But, you have to keep the rotation in the same direction on the rear tires. this may require dismounting, and re-mounting. You really should do the same to the fronts, because with the front end geometry on the newer trucks, they tend to wear the outside edges pretty badly. Sorry, hope I didn’t just crap in your Cheerios. ……………….Mikey 😆
At 400.oo a pop for tires thats a good one with our trucks that are always checked by D.O.T WERE UP ON THIS. First the inside rears go first so put new on then outers but they never really just rotate replace. Brian
