Rod Stewart used to sing a song called “Forever Young”. Everytime I heard that song, I thought of Dick Clark. The guy just never seemed to get old. R.I.P. Dick.
Funny thing,about a month ago i Had my two sisters visit me for a couple of days,and part of our conversations came up on the ‘ole’ programs we watched,and of course,American Bandstand was one that really stood out.We were trying to remember certain daily dancer’s names like Justine Correlli,Bob Clayton,(matched pair) Pat Mouliterri,ect.From that point,went on line to You Tube,and ‘naturally’ found some old and new coverage of the popular people,and show itself (boy where did the time go?).Dick Clark was without a doubt,an ‘icon’,and always will be remembered as “America’s oldest teenager”! May he R.I .P.
