        What type of motorcycles will at Dover nostalgia drags on Aug. 10,11 at Lebanon Valley ❓

        I have an era correct 1975 street bike that probly will run a 15 sec 1/4 on a good day 😆 but I want to run it 😀

            2012 rules say no street bikes. i ran mine at the 2010 race in new jersey . i myself would like to see more old school / period correct dragbikes but there hard to find and to get out and run just for a trophy . you should be able to race on saturday in the time trials and test and tune at lebanon they ran all kinds of bikes there on saturday last year you just have to go thru there inspection before you get a time card to be able to race / run . they have always been motorcycle friendly as long as you have the proper gear. a less then 10 year old snell approved helmet full coverage leather or kevlar type gloves and a leather jacket and boots above ankle . when you start go over 120 m.p.h. you will need full leathers to race and any bike that goes 9.99 or quicker bike provide a N.H.R.A. competition license . i just got a nice dragbike all ready to race at this years event 😀 cant wait right around da corner and back in the fastlane 😎

                THANKS Fastlane….Lebanon ,and If you remember back at Island (the Bike Accident?)…have a lot of problems with novice off the street motorcycles….not atuned to track preping ,no experiance and the safety issue is off the charts.Beside…the spectators don’t need to see a bunch of bikes you can see in the Walmart parking lot….It’s a Race SO -Race Bikes. I’m Sure Saturdays Test & Tune ,and they have that all the time, would be Ok. Not Sunday elimination time….

                    yea dino thats sucked big time in jersey while we were sitting right on starting line behind them two street bikes waiting to race on sunday for the dover gold and waiting all that time for the mess to get cleaned up when we had the neto/ vtwinplus seies / nostalgia motorcycle class back in 2005 our rules were as follows wheelie bars were highly recommended for anybody who wanted to race even with a street bike they are avaliable from pingle enterprise. we had the same thing happen at the annual englishtown nostalgia race in late july guy showed up with a big inch lowrider style harley big twin with a old school foot clutch and handshift bike and guess what no wheelie bars 😮 theres proof they work and here’s the end result when you try and jockey off the staring line without them see attached photo from my old pal greg guarinello .
