Don’t think so …were did you find the shot.? If any orange 57 showed at the gate with Pumpkin on the side…the Casey Engineering Crew would show them how to go south on rt.22 😆
Looking at the garage door, along with the architecture and the building materials of the house in the background, this picture looks to be fairly recent. Maybe within 20 years or so. Could be wrong. Would not be the first time.
Hardtop too! but I don’t see a roll bar.
Boy! That looks close to my 57 Chevy,2dr. h.t. 210 model I had in ’68’ which ran C/MP. Mine was a dark brown, with painted white wheels (no mags),plus the wheel wells were ‘stock’,uncut. I agree, the picture looks more modern, according to the background.Hopefully someone will remember who built and ran it?
Hey Cakes, do you have any pictures of your 57 Chevy C/MP ❓ You know
how much I like those tri-%’s ❗ 😆
Frank…. 😎
Thats a late 90s S-10 Blazer 2dr seen through the glass of the 57.
Pat
Pat …you and Adrian Monk are two sharp cookies ! nice CSI.
Goes to show ya how sharp I am. Scoured to whole picture looking for time stamp clues and never saw the blazer next to it. Car looks like it just came out of a 20 year hibernation……Barn Find? If so it’s what dreams are made of.
My guess would be somewhere down South, maybe Georgia. Just going by the style of the garage etc. ……………Mikey 😆
Hey Frank good to hear from ya! My 57 Chevy C/MP is pictured on the ODF forum.Go to the ‘search’ box, type in ‘willys gasser lover’,then scroll down to ‘Baby Cakes II . The only photo I have of it at the 68 Spring Nationals,at ‘E’ town. It’s dark brown, with white shoe-polish lettering (just finished building it 2 weeks prior).Next to Willys,I too love the ’55’ and ’57’ Chevys. It would be nice to see the automakers bring them back to today’s times like they did the Mustang,Camaros, and Challengers nowadays.
