NETO race 3, Saturday May 16 at Numidia Dragway was rained out.
NETO Race 4 was completed Sunday May 17 at Numidia Dragway.
The day started out with threatening skies, but ended in hot, humid and sunny weather. Twenty one racers participated in the event sponsored by Mauceri & Hennebery Racing. At the end of the day Comp Eliminator was won by John Giambertone in his small block Ford powered ‘Psyched Clone” Mercury Cyclone over Chris Kraft in his 8 second 55 Chevy. John posted a 9.84 on a 9.75 index to Chris’ red lighting 8.91 on a 8.50 index.
The Nostalgia final was won by Guy Johnson in his Anglia “Farm Boy Express”, over Jerry Hillier in his 72 Maverick. Guy ran a 10.14 on a 10.18 dial to Jerry’s red lighting 13.01 on a 13.03 dial.
