NETO races 11 and 12 to be held at Island Dragway, August 6 and 7
On Saturday August 6 NETO race 11 will be held at Island Dragway. Island will be holding their National Dragster Challenge . This is also a special NETO day. It is our King of the Hill race. For third consecutive year, a Wally will go to a NETO racer. Once again the winner of Comp will race the winner of Nostalgia. We alternate the rules yearly, this year they will run the Nostalgia .500 full tree. The Nostalgia winner must dial 10.00 or slower, the Comp winner must dial 9.80 or faster, but can choose any dial in faster than 9.80. The winner gets the Wally. Comp racers, lets bring your A game. The first two King of the Hill races were won by the Nostalgia winner. Gates open at Noon on Saturday.
On Sunday Aug 7 Island is celebrating their 56th anniversary with a big show called the Funny Car Showdown. gates open at 9 A.M..
