NETO race 16 was completed Sunday September 25 at Lebanon Valley dragway. Forty two racers competed on this clear crisp day in the race sponsored by Putnam Radiator of Mahopac NY. Comp Eliminator
Comp eliminator was won by Tony Supino in his sleek BBC powered 63 Nova. Tony ran 8.749 on a 8.10 dial to take the win. Here is Tony with Danny, Jim, Anthony jr, grand daughter Aria and crew Bruce receiving the trophy.
Mark Finkle was runner up in “Badger” 67 alcohol injected Camaro. Mark turned on the red light in losing, running against a 9.50 index. Here is Mark and daughter Eliza receiving the trophy.
Nostalgia Eliminator
Nostalgia eliminator was won by Steve Consentino in his “Yankee Clipper” 1962 Dodge wagon. Steve ran a10.508 on a 10.47 dial to take the win. Here is Steve with friend Steve receiving the trophy.
Frank Paradiso jr came close to sweeping the weekend races as he was runner up on Sunday. Frank ran a break out 11.796 on a 11.84 dial. Here is Frank receiving the trophy with friends Lou Laferrara sr, Frank and Lou jr.
