        I just heard that Tom “The Mongoose” McEwen passed away last night
        at his home in Cal. at the age of 81. He and his long time friend, Don
        Prudhomme entertained many with their “Snake vs Mongoose” rivalry in
        their funny car match races. I watched the two of them match race
        at Dover Drag Strip. A true legend of the sport! R.I.P. Tom and
        thank you for the memories you left with us!
