We are going to be replacing the forum in its entirety. Since our website migration to a higher quality host, which offered all of the newest technologies, we have had problem after problem with the old, antiquated forums not being compatible, so we are migrating away from phpBB and into something that is much more suitable.
The forum has been up since 2008, and the unfortunate truth, is the original creators of phpBB have spent very little time improving their product and eventually stopped supporting it altogether. We have managed to create and institute our own repairs and fixes over the years, but “Moore’s Law” (Moore’s law is the observation that the number of transistors in a dense integrated circuit doubles about every two years. … Moore’s law is an observation and projection of a historical trend and not a physical or natural law.) being what it is, there is no point in continuing to try and repair this old technology as it is simply not adaptable.
Countless hours have been spent (when all of you are asleep, most of the time) working to keep it operational, and it simply doesn’t make sense.
NOW FOR THE GOOD PART!
We have found a suitable replacement and will begin the migration IMMEDIATELY. We ask that you refrain from posting until the migration is done.
