Hope some of you remember me. Partnered with Clem LaChance (Mad Frenchman) then ran my 69 SS/HA Mustang. Down here in NC with Doug Smith and Joe Huestis. I get to see them pretty often. Have a D/SA Olds 442 in the works and have finished with my 58 Corvette restomod.
Found out about this site by “accident”. Dino – where are you goin’ to find the time to moderate this board? Good Luck, what a great idea!

good to hear things are well for you.
hope you can make the reunion or the Dover race in October,
Clem is still going strong at 77+ yrs ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
made the maverick an automatic a few years ago
was a hard decision to make but heโ€™s glade he did,
runs with NETO, put it’s on the wheelie bars and runs his 10’s,
Say hi to Joe Heustis for me, small world I saw his brother Billy and his wife
along Jessie (Mom), this morning at the pancake breakfast.
I know Joe stays in touch with Andy in Carmel ๐Ÿ˜ฎ & Joe Puleo in Fla. ๐Ÿ˜†

Hope to see ya when you are in the area at one of the events.
            Stay well,

                Hey Bobby,
Haven’t spoken with you in a while. Been getting most of my updates from Joe Huestis and Doug Smith as they are both pretty close to where I live here in NC.
Seems like only yesterday when you were working on the yellow Tempest and the Rambler SST?? in your driveway down by the church.
Man does time fly. It sure is great to see some of the old pics of the times we had at Dover. I started as a spectator in 65 and ran there 71-76.
I finally retired from Olds in 94 and moved down here to be close to my son. (Chapel Hill) Joe tells me you are doing great work with NETO. I’m sure that is keeping you busy.
I still have my 68 Olds 442 and I am thinking about getting back to racing after all these years. I know Clem is still at it going strong. We used to have a hoot with that car at Dover. I am sure the automatic is easier on parts.
Good to hear from you and thanks for taking the time to post me. See you maybe real soon.
                Regards,

                Fred
