Hows that for a follow-up on our “Mystery’ Glass Slipper’ ” story…..Rich was a member of the Draggin Flies club in New Rochelle and Drove it -Club Car ! Met up with John Sachs ,Digger Dave ,Terenzios and the Laganas at Gatornationals . They told him about the site and he sent in form. So I called him up and he filled me in on the car (See post at “Early 1960’s -who owned these cars ?” topic in Historical Dover Photos) ……Rich ran a number of cars ,including a “mud-Brown” ’29 coupe and a A/A black primed Fiat. He’ll be on forum soon with Wife Donna helping in the computer dept. …..Amazing history unfolding !

Rich Will Be At Englishtown THIS weekend. Up from Florida for his summer at upper N.Y. house. Had a talk on phone about STILL pursuing the ware-abouts of famed Glass Slipper ‘somewhere’ , we think in Putnam co. ! Need to Find ‘Fat Larry” to Find “ERIC—–” to find Erics’ brother, WHO supposedly stashed it in his Putnam Co. “barn”….lot of investigative tracking here…. Whew! All Members of the Dragon-Flyie car club in early 60’s. Still hooking up to get on Forum…had old windows 98 computer that he just replaced.

Latest from Rich…He’s been investigating…sadly found out “fat Larry” passed away…another old club member says the suspected Car property site location in Putnam was sold years ago and…..thinks the “Slipper” might have been scaped !He’s getting more info this weekend at race. BUT ….found out another Old Draggin Fly Club member still runs a lot at Lebanon…Billy Coward, T/AD

Pretty much a ‘dead’ issue…the car was scrapped….too bad.
