City officials this week gave the final OK to the $100 million Danbury Fair mall proposal.
Up to 200 vintage car owners at a time in cars, ranging from 1973 Camaros to 1920s Fords, are gathering at the Sycamore Restaurant in Bethel every Saturday evening.
A Chevrolet Nova built from scratch by auto shop students at Ridgefield High School was on display at an auto show and swap meet at Danbury Airport.
The show itself is the brainchild of Time Tunnel Productions, a company formed by a pair of Danbury men.
This is their third car show and flea market, which partner Dino Lawrence said is the biggest in Connecticut.
Lawrence helped the students locate parts and paint the car they built.
