YES, YES, YES, YES. Did I say that enough, it’s finally time to “fish or cut bait” I’m dead tired, lost the cable to put pix on the web, still have to load things up in the AM, but I am planning on leaving here at 7AM. Frank Gaizo of NETO is taking his car also. Wish everyone luck.
Hey Mater where you at? Your kinda like my “get it done competition” I got a battery for my video cam and now it works I just know how to use it. I would love to put it on “you tube” but am brain dead. I lost the owners manual for the NEW generator I bought for the track. Lost the cord for my camera. Lost my mind, and spent a lot of money so far. I’ll be glad when Nov. 8 comes around.
VINI, VIDI, VICCI, (I think) we drove up in a light mist, before we got to Hudson we had to take the car cover off it was ripping apart. get up to the track and see only 3 cars and motor homes, go in and one guy from Mass. says they called it off at 8:30AM we got there at 9:10AM. I asked a guy in the garage if I can start the car up and drive it around he said “no problem”. We unloaded the car it was windy out but no rain and started it up, put it in gear and the car moved under it’s own race motor power for the first time in at least 41 years. Pulled it back to the trailer, shut it off and checked things out. Then brother Mike gets in and takes a cruise(3-4 minutes) and comes back. There are a few small issues (I don’t fit in the car). We played with it a little bit more and I got in again to put it in line with the trailer but I had to just goose it a little bit more. It seems to be pretty good as far as 4 link set up and it ran fairly cool for that tiny radiator it never got past
160 deg. I got pics and maybe video if the video cam worked, no one knows how to use it. 7 days and counting.
yup…..got all the way to the track…20 after 8….called…at 8.30….sooooo…checked with my bud from mass/nh line…call epping…..may race not sure…sooooooo…….going to Island tomorrow ……want to get in the 8 sec zone with the Stude….and just have fun with the Austin….Any one as sick as I am……any one else want to go???
None of us are normal .That’s why we drag race!Too bad you guys could not get some laps in today . Pat and Tomato I am realy looking forward to seeing you guys race next weekend you both have put a tremendous amount of work into those cars.That first pass down th track will be the big payoff!
