BARN FINDS …who knows whats out there?

I’ll kick this off…was out ‘on the road’ quoting some jobs this morning,and remembered I had my camera.Didn’t even go 1/2 mile when I found all this stuff right in town…..not even trying.Who knows what you can find AND maybe just what someone is looking for.

Dino,alot of potential candidates there,heck if I were 50 years younger,I’d be down there with a thick wallet,and I’d be looking around for something that struck my eye to somehow tow home;and I’d build a “Frankengasser’ out of it.Around here,asking and looking around,most ‘ole’ drag cars are now history.I give alot of credit to the O.D.F members who still run there nostalgia “drag” cars.Just the thought of the blood,sweat,and tears they put into it,and most of all $$$$$$$! You gotta LUV them !!!!

Incedentally…

Bobby lagana Sr. is looking to find a salvagable ’46 Plymouth coupe like the one he had from back in the day. He wants to do a re-creation of the old “Champion Speed Shop Special” C/G car that we all remember. He is serious because he has some of his other cars from the past under re-construction now. That’s what he told me when I saw him at the Charlotte Z-Max last month. The origional Plymouth was a car that his mother used until she gave that to him. Now he wants it back…! But that’s not likely so if you find one like it in a barn somewhere, let’s get that information to him. Seriously.
