His “Profile” says This:
RETIRED SHEETMETAL WORKER, BUILD CUSTOM CHOPPERS AND SELL “OUTLAW PERFORMANCE” BODIES & CHASSIS STARTED N.E.T.O. NOSTALGIA DRAG RACING CLUB IN 1998, STARTING A NOSTALGIA FUNNY CAR CLUB NOW……………………..But I remember “Tiny” as a School Freind ,when we grew up in Katonah.N.Y. He moved into town and we of course had Hot Rods as a Hobbie. When I got a ride to school with him in his ‘Duece Coupe” TIKI III” …I was Hooked. Then we both worked on his “Undecided” Gasser ….later the Former “Shottgun Express” in ’69 ,he called ‘The MinderBender”. I did custom paint work for his Bike ShopToo. Funniest car he had was a Rambler, which I lettered up Hippie Style….For the Street ! .Times went by …we lost touch Then all of a sudden He Starts NETO and Builds His “Hell Fire” ’55 chevy! Heres a shot of his old hot rod in ’64 with former owner I think…

HEY MY FRIEND DINO, MAN TIME DID GO BY FAST ,DIDN’T IT?, YOU REMEMBER DRIVING AROUND IN THAT RAMBLER TOO HUH?..LOL, YOU LETTERED THAT TOO, IT SAID “YOUR A HEAD IN A RAMBLER” ON THE TRUNK,WELL IT WAS THE 60’S…LOL, LIKE MY BSA YOU LETTERED “POT LUCK”.
DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN I DROVE MY ’32 COUPE [SAKI III ] TO SCHOOL THE FIRST TIME,I WAS 6′ 5″ TALL AND THERE IS NOT MUCH ROOM IN A CHANNELED ’32 COUPE, IT ALSO HAD A 4-SPEED WELL I BURNED OUT LEAVING AND DID A 360 IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE SCHOOL AND ALMOST INTO A TELEPHONE POLE, NEEDLESS TO SAY I NEVER DID THAT AGAIN…LOL.
DO YOU REMEMBER DRIVING OUT TO NEW YORK NATIONAL SPEEDWAY IN LONG ISLAND,[ABOUT 3hrs] IN MY NEW ’67 SS CAMARO 396cu in /375hp, WITH SLICKS IN THE TRUNK,I RACED THAT PROFESSIONAL LOOKING HEMI CHARGER ALL LETTERED AND I BEAT HIM, THEY WANTED TO “DQ” ME BECAUSE MY TAIL PIPES WERE 4″ TO SHORT, THEY DIDN’T REACH THE REAR AXLE,BUT THE GUY IN THE DODGE SAID THAT I BEAT HIM FAIR AND SQUARE,AND 4″ SHORTER TAILPIPES WOULDN’T HAVE MATTERED, SO I GOT THE THROPHY…LOL
IT WAS GREAT HAVING A GOOD FRIEND THAT WAS SUCH A TALENTED PAINTER, IN ENGLISH CLASS THEY SPLIT US UP,ME IN FRONT AND DINO IN THE BACK, I PAST MY NEW NOTEBOOK TO HIM AND WHEN CLASS WAS OVER IT WAS ALL LETTERED UP WITH A “WEIRDO” DRAWING IT WAS LIKE “BIG DADDY ED ROTH ” WAS IN THE BACK OF THE ROOM, IT HAD A WILLYS COUPE WITH THE DRIVERS ARM STICKING OUT OF THE ROOF HOLDING THE SHIFTER, WHAT A TALENT YOU EVEN HAD BACK THEN.
I GOT MY ’64 DODGE MAX WEDGE [CLONE] ON MY TRAILER ALREADY FOR NEXT WEEKEND,BUT I’M LEAVIN STREET GEARS IN.

Bob:
I too remember your arrival and departure in Saki at John Jay High School. Trust me, there was no conversation that day that did not include, “did you see the new car in the lot.” Turned many heads that day. As I remember it, you were required to change the name of the car to satisfy school admin. Is my memory correct or just a pleasant fantasy?
I don’t remember the “Tiny” tag but if irony matters, it sure fit! 😀
