Pat
Lot of Legandary names running that day..That’s the same Tiny Tim …sitting Unstarted in his Garage for 39 years.AND It ran 3 thousands off its all time best et at our Race..Funny …when I wrote the story ,I couldn’t remember Louie Centolanza’s brotheres name. And I did drive all night. The Race in Md. wasn’t over til after one in the morning. They had a bunch of funny cars match racing. Remember almost falling asleep driving up the turnpike in my brothers GT-350 H. Arrived at Dover with NO sleep at 8am.And then announced all day …then got the 5:24 am train to school in NYC that Mon. Morning. Would write the results story on the train and mail it to Drag Times from Grand Central Station.
