Some of the sports most famous legends appeared at Dover in the Early sixties. Chris Karamesines…Don Garlits….Connie Kalitta…TV Tommy Ivo…Pete Robinson…Art Arfons….And many more were featured . First in Exhibition Runs,then in Match Races. This all to promote the track and bring in spectators. As time went on …Even some of Dover’s regulars became legends thenselves ! ….Lagana…Gommi….Abbott….Moroso and on & on .
