😀 Mickey Ferro drove the Ryco Hydraulics/City Carting TA/FC to the head of the class at the Division 2 opener at Bradenton, Florida, today. Tuned by Anthony Terenzio, the team also employs veteran clutch specialist, Mike Pavia, from upstate New York. Just last Tuesday, Mike performed the clutch chores on the Winternationals-winning entry of Rick Jackson, driven by Tony Bartone and tuned by Steve Boggs. Mickey hammered out a nice 5.569/259.89 to claim the top spot. Check dragracecentral tomorrow to cheer them through Eliminations.
Awww, s#%t! They wrapped (or painted) it! Their feature is going in my July issue . . . I shot it at the Auto Club Finals, and Anthony didn’t say anything about new colors (!). S#%t!
Mickey Ferro prevails . . . qualifies #1 (5.569), runs quickest throughout eliminations — 5.74, 5.62, and 5.67 in the final to beat Mark Billington’s 5.73. Great Job, Anthony, Joe, Edddie, Mike and John.
Hi Tom it was nice meeting you at Bradenton thank’s for coming out to the track to cheer us on. ANTHONY
I would have been there also had it not been for “circomstances”. Yours might have been the fastest car there… Was it…???
Anthony….I was glad you were able to take the time with us at Bradenton. You guys did great job there. I see you went on to Gainesville after that and did pretty good there also.
Did you guys go back to Connecticut after that race? I know they group the division 2 races together at the beginning of the season and only two week to go for Gainesville. That makes a pretty tough schedule when your based in Connecticut.
Good hearing from you again and good luck at the Gators.
Tom
