Talked to Leroy Caple this week. He ran the concession stand at the drag strip.
He has had two strokes. Usually that effects the ability to converse well but he is in good shape walking talking and his memeory is fine. I threw him a couple of false statements which he immediately corrected. He lives in the park across the street (RT22) from where pop Birdsals garage was in Wingdale.
