Boy oh boy there are maney different configurations! As you noticed Dino the one on CL does seem longer and the one in our files that says “Hellzapoppin 2 is again different. Wow can you imagine a chronological history of all the “Hellzapoppin” I think that $7500. is a little high for a lengthen car that won’t certify without additional hoop work.

Hi Pat
Got the itch for this but I have same thought with the mods and cert.
Could just run it in the 10’s.
I got a couple of small blocks in garage,no injectors though.
Bob
Bob you really have to get a hold of NHRA to find out what you can run. I had some time getting straight answers on the rules with the MG. I’m planning on running up at the HR reunion at Epping NH, but I’m going to go early in the year for a test and tune to get teched in so I know what to expect for the reunion.
Pat
Pat…You’re good…Have run it for all these years at two differant NHRA tracks…Reunion And New England dragway All NHRA too …should be all the same…This car with one loop…don’t think so…. Mas ?…Right?
got an e-mail reply back…a “scott” says He posted it for “jason” the owner…Said “The Car is the one in old photos and has firesuit from the old photos.Call the number”.
Dino,got the same reply.
Pat
Would love to have my wagon done by the reunion but even if not
we are going to be hauling my friends Scotto&Blevins Nomad up there.
Have had varying opinions at certs with old altereds,Pat.
Sometimes the straight answers take the crooked path.
Anybody gonna bite on this one? give em the old “Pawn Stars” barter …. 😆 ….seems to ME..the last time it was quiet like this …”somebody’ was negotiating behind the scenes .. . . … 😎
Dino “loose lips sink ships” “remember the pumpkin”.

Hey………….Who owns the Nomad…I’ve wondered where it ended up…I owned an SRD Vega that Paul had and did not like it…..He sold it after many shake down runs and many changes….It only worked well with an automatic..( not so good for Pro Stock)..It sat in Connecticut for 10 years or so..I was told by all involved to leave the car where it is but I bought it anyway…..I ran it for 2 seasons only with limited success and it was sold to another Jersey boy that I met at Island Dragway …..We pulled the motor and trans out there, he gave me the cash and I left the car there….I could never get the car right. 😕 ..I guess Blevins never could either….. 😕 …….Don…
Well …here goes another topic into another topic into another topic …Don ….That nomad was at our first Nostalgia drags at Island.
What does the Nomad look like now and who owns it?….Where is it from? And what the hell is wrong with multiple topics running together.. ❓ ….Keeps things interesting…. 🙂
