Hey Frank and Dino…………Thanks for the comeback…I spent time out in Jersey at Truppi and Kling, Bob Duffy, Paul Blevins, Tommy Martino etc. etc…Casey and myself would make the rounds to try and pick info and some parts……….What an awesome Nomad ….Hope to see the wagon also soon………
Rick Rudolph is the owner and restorer of Blevins & Scotto Nomad as Dino stated.
Franks pic is exactly the way it looks.
Bought it 10 -12 years ago,was on street and painted black or maybe blue.
Rick lives in Lake Luzerne,NY and did a great reconstruction.Spot on.We have met with Joe and Paul numerous times.
Paul has passed,Joes’ a character.Have had it at York reunion a few times.
Thanks for the pic of my turd,Dino.
Am getting there,Epping reunion is a good goal.
Now if I can persuade the wife to invest in a FED that happens to be in Vt. I would be a happy guy.
Could be tough.
Buckaroo….No Turd!…blast it -paint it… get “Dan the Sign man” (Delaney) up your area to reletter …don’t know how the motor -interior is …But looks like its all there!

Thanks again….Yes I heard Paul died sometime back. 🙁 .He was quite a character also ……..
Does not mention it is a HELLZAPOPPIN chassis, and it is not a ’59, here is a picture of Ron’s indy chassis in ’63, the longer chassis were not started till about ’61 that Dode Martin can remember, also a different roll bar over driver than the VT one, from after the Mark II chassis like mine was when Dode & Jimmy started to streach them for handleing, the nick name for the longer ones was THE DART chassis because they put a blown 383 dodge wedge in one of the first ones. It was remade and is now in the NHRA museum, it was gold with the red motor. They stopped making chassis between 65-66 when nitro came back. They were happy with their record winning chassis up till than so they stopped dragsters and stayed with the roadsters kits for a while than Jim started working on & racing A/FX mopars. At the right price can be made into a long’r version of a dragmaster. All the pictures in the ad show an injected small block chevy. After my chassas Ron only ran blown sbc. Can not read the name on one of the pictures in the ad to see what it was called in its` day.
Bobby
