I was a frequent visitor to this hallowed strip, and importanly, when I was in High school I worked weekends at the ARCO station at the cor of rt 55 and Bruzgul road. On sundays I would watch everyone going over the mountain to the races and when they were returning everybody was fired up from the races and would burn out on 55. One day everybody went 2 wide on 55 and another guy got out, took off his shirt and was starter!!! great stuff. I build hot rod, restore and sell old gas station memorabilia, and am a part time DJ at a local fm Oldies station, hot rod songs a specialty!!! Keep up the good work
