http://www.dragracecentral.com seems to have best up to date news:
second round Qualifying-Fri……………….
Left Lane: Cory McClenathan Runs 5.541/117.49, Now #13; Best prior run: 4.458/176.77, Was #13
Right Lane: Bobby Lagana Jr. Runs 3.976/304.19, Now #10; Best prior run: 4.230/214.76, Was #12
Lucas’ run put Bobby Lagana Jr. on the bump spot at 4.230. Cory Mac was the only driver with a chance to bump Lagana – the remaining drivers in line are already in the 12-car field.
McClenathan started hazing the tires about 200 feet out. Lagana continues to “improve his craft” and he posted a career-best 1,000-foot ET, his first-ever “three.”
Latest Top Fuel Notes 1:36pm Sat Atlanta -from Dragracecentaral.com
Right Lane: Cory McClenathan Runs 3.920/300.86, Now #12; No Prior Run
Bobby Lagana was supposed to run in the left lane, elected to skip this run since they were safely in the field and run on a tight budget. Cory Mac was not in the top twelve yesterday and had no choice.

141 Bobby Lagana Jr. 7 Brandon Bernstein
E1 ****WINNER**** 0.098 3.991 271.79 0.096 4.196 253.09
Qualified: #15 3.976 304.19 #2 3.824 311.49
This is only the second time Bernstein and Lagana have raced each other. Bernstein won the first one. The last time Lagana started #15 was at the Gatornationals this year, where he went to the semifinals.
Lightning strikes again for Lagana! They left together and Bernstein was pulling away, as expected, then started hazing the tires and Lagan just kept on truckin’ for the win. Bobby Lagana Jr.’s incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.022), 330 ft(-0.066), 660ft(0.074). MOV: 0.2031 seconds (approximately 75 feet). He won’t have lane choice against Cory Mac in round two, probably doesn’t care.
Rain Delay…Supposed to resume about Now 3:30
Round 2
Car#-Driver(Opp’nt)-RT—–ET—Speed—–Car#-Driver(Opp’nt)-RT—-ET—Speed
3 Cory McClenathan 141 Bobby Lagana Jr.
E2 ****WINNER**** 0.138 3.864 317.12 0.097 3.952 299.26
3:37 p.m. Cory Mac is 3-0 against Lagana, but this is the first time they have squared off in the second round. They are the only two bottom-half qualifiers to get out of the first round, so one there will be a bottom-half qualifier in the semifinals.
Lagana was away first, made his best run of the weekend, but could not hold off the Fram dragster on the top end. Cory McClenathan’s incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.036), 330 ft(-0.012), 660ft(0.015). MOV: 0.0473 seconds (approximately 21 feet). Good show by Lagana and his bare-bones team, that’s his quickest-ever run at 1,000 feet.
ESPN 2 showed all at 7pm tonight…look on Bobby Sr.’s Face priceless when he beat the Bud team.
