A CHRISTMAS MESSAGE TO OUR FAITHFUL…
Twas the night before Christmas ,
and all thru the track
not a race car was seen, they never came back
the tower was gone …even Dino’s Chair
in hopes that St Nick…
would put it back there.
the dover guys were sleeping
and crashed in thier beds
while visions of burn-outs
danced in thier heads.
When up in old Wingdale,
there rose such a buzz
even V-Bob arose ,to see what it was
out in New Haven …and all through the land
The dover guys knew ,there was a new plan.
The word was out, that soon back in town,
the race guys were coming
to party it down.
That Jolly old sole
in his modified Sleigh,
with eight blown motors
was making his way,
hoping the racers
where asleep in the hay.
he logged in and saw
what many has said
and dreamed of at night
when they were in bed
He’d give them a gift, that would bring it all back,
A Nostalgia Race at a funky old Track.
….when out of the sky ,
he announced as he sped ….

K Man Chuck, back from Jersey. I was greeted with 26″ of snow in my driveway entry from the plow trucks, one foot on my property. I parked in my neighbor’s cleared driveway, and from there 2 1/2 hours working my snow blower and snow shovel. With that drive back from Jersey with those crazy ‘Jersey’ drivers,and snow removal, I slept very well that night!!! lol. Anyhoot wishing you and your bride,and this goes for ‘all’ ODF’s a HAPPY and HEALTHY New Year for 2018!!!! Also some above zero weather….burrrrr! Mr. Pete.
^^^^^^^ Good to see you back Mr. Pete … be careful pushing that snow… got to say tho, in my own sick way i kinda’ miss the white stuff… not inches deep but a nice “trackin’ snow”… just to brighten up the landscape… the weather down here has been fine … we will finally be in our own place on the third and i can’t wait … enough runnin’ !!!! … you be safe up there my friend..
KMAN…Are you staying in Florida permenently? OR coming back north in the Spring? Kelly Leslie the Lebanon Track Photographer needs an ‘assistant” !..I recommended YOU…she’ll even supply the camera. She’s now the ‘official’ photog taking Jim Knights place.

Hmmmm….KMan the “official assistant Track Photographer “…has a nice ring to it. Kelly’s got a Trailer now on site to work out of and definatly will need some help…you the man…sent her some links of your work…she was impressed…well WE knew That !
