NETO race 1 was completed Saturday April 30 at Atco dragway. Thirty two racers competed in the race which was sponsored by Sew & Show from Garwood, N.J. Guy Griese presented the Comp trophies, Frank Martinez presented the Nostalgia trophies.

In Comp eliminator a 1963 Nova was guaranteed to win.
First time NETO winner, Brian Vradenburg, from Lake Hopatcong N.J. was the winner in his 63 Nova turning a 9.74 on a 9.60 index. here is Brian with crew Chris and Andrew.

Nostalgia Eliminator was won by Wayne Farquhar driving for Team Farquhar, from Monson, MA. Wayne drove his beautiful 1969 Chevelle to the win ith an 11.09 on an 11.05 dial. Here is Wayne with the trophy.
