NETO Races 12 and 13 were held at Lebanon Valley Dragway Saturday Aug 11 and Sunday Aug 12. On Saturday we finished two and one half time trials (2 Nostalgia, 1 Comp) before the deluge came. the remainder of the day was washed out with torrential downpours and tornado warnings. Sunday Aug 12 was a better day. Sunny and hot. It was the fourth annual Dover Nostalgia Drags and everything went off beautifully. Thirty four racers were in attendance. Twenty three Nostalgia cars and Eleven Comp cars. When the smoke cleared (figuratively) Vinny Laurita Sr won Comp eliminator for his third win of the year. Louis LaFerrarra was runner up. In Nostalgia eliminator, Roger Wright returned to the winners circle for the first time this year taking the win over Paula Nappi. Saturday’s event was sponsored by Valley Chassis Works. Sundays race was sponsored by Putnam Radiator.
