NETO race 14 was completed Sunday September 11 at Island dragway. Forty two racers competed on this sunny warm day in the race sponsored by C & F racecars from Pleasant Valley NY. Paula Nappi and Al Banome presented the trophies. (Click on photos for a larger image)

Comp eliminator was won by Ronnie Baker in his beautiful 1966 Chevelle big block chevy. Ronnie ran 9.03 on his 9.00 index to take the win.
Chris Kraft was runner up in his JCM racing 55 Chevy with a 600 C.I. chevy engine pulling the gears on his Lenco tranny. Chris ran 8.73 on his 8.70 index. Here is Chris with crew chief Ben receiving the trophy.

Nostalgia eliminator was won by Frank Martinez in his big block Ford 1973 Maverick. This was Frank’s first win in NETO competition. Congratulations Frank. Here is Frank with special friend Kristen receiving the trophy. Frank ran a 10.78 on a 10.70 dial for the win.
Runner up went to Guy Johnson in his J & B Performance built small block chevy, 1948 Anglia Thames panel truck. Guy, had a red lighting 10.17 run on a 10.00 dial to take runner up.
