The 2015 season came to a ,close Sunday Oct 18 when 42 racers participated in the race at Island Dragway. The Fall finals were sponsored by Fidelity Alarm of Philadelphia Pa. Due to the frigid weather and some wind at the top end, Comp eliminator was run eighth mile. In Comp eliminator,Greg Georges took his 67 Camaro to the win with 5.765, 118.56 on a 5.70 index. Runner up was Mike Petrole in his 67 Camaro with a 5.603, 122.85 on a 5.55 index.
Nostalgia eliminator was won by Angelo Sclafani in his 68 Coronet with a 10.057, 123.79 on a 10.00 dial. Runner up was Greg Schreiner in his 68 Camaro with a 13.407, 99.94 on a 13.35 dial.
The Limited series 10.0 Index was run Sunday. Angelo Sclafani completed the double by winning the 10.0 race. Angelo ran a 9.91, 136.11 to beat runner up Jody Kenly who went 9.769, 136.33.
The championships were settled Sunday. In Comp eliminator Lou Laferrara Jr won the championship. Lou and John Giambertone ended in a tie for first, but Lou held the tiebreaker, rounds won. Congratulations Lou on your second Comp championship. Repeating as Nostalgia championship is Roger Wright. Congratulations Roger on your second Nostalgia championship.
