Thirty racers competed in race 4, which was sponsored by Accurate Auto Repair of Norwalk, CT. Jerry Deslandes presented the trophies. The race was shortened to eighth mile due to moisture on the track.
COMP ELIMINATOR
Comp Eliminator was won by Mark Finkle in his “Badger” injected Camaro with a hole shot win, running a 6.03 on a 5.99 index.
Runner up in his big block 1969 camaro, was Brian English running a 5.557 on a 5.55 index.
NOSTALGIA ELIMINATOR
Nostalgia eliminator was won by Rene Patterson in the Team Patterson 1966 Chevy Biscayne, running 7.23 on a 7.18 dial.
Gerry Ingersoll was runner up in his Ford FE powered 1967 Mercury Comet, running a 6.65 on a 6.60 dial.
