NETO Race 8, sponsored by Select Performance, at Atco Raceway was completed Saturday June 15, 2013. Twenty four racers participated as part of Atco’s 53 annual Thrill Show. Alongside Jet cars, a Jet truck, Funny Cars, Pro Mods and Benny the Bomb, the NETO racers put on a great show. It was a LONG day, beginning in early afternoon and ending around midnight. In NETO Comp, Lou LaFerrara drove his altered to a win over John Giambertone in his Mercury Cyclone. In Nostalgia eliminator, Paula Nappi, in her Corvette, was victorious over Roger Wright in his Plymouth Cuda (which does bare a strong resemblance to its sister Mopar Dodge challenger). It was great racing, with fast times and lots of entertainment.
