Oh fudge, whole post just went poof cause I must have hit a key somewhere! Anyway,I didn’t get the new rule book for 2011,but heard that pit bikes, quads, etc that are used on an NHRA track, will now have to be registered in our state of residence.Anyone know,or hear of this latest way to separate us from our hard earned cash? Is it really true?

This may be true but since I’m not a member anymore, I can’t even look it up. I’m glad I’m not a member anymore.

I didnt hear about that but on your pit vehicle you do need the car # your with and the NHRA Division 1pit vehicle sticker, which i think is 10 bucks and can be bought at the track.

Smoken cobrajet I paid more and got less. When we had to buy the rulebook that was it for me.

Did a quick search…..only found a bunch of forum posts at like classracer going back to ’08. Did see that div.5 & div. 1 do charge $10. Hey NHRA Points running guys …whats the scoop?

Looked at the car registration form for the hot rod reunion and it says for your $100.00 you get one pit vehicle pass that must be on your tow vehicle. Any other motorized vehicle (quad, motorbike, etc ) that you bring in will cost you $25.00.
As for registration I think they could care less just show them the money. $25.00.

Here we go again,N.H.R.A thinning out our ‘wallets’ once again.Expenses are bad enough to race, this only adds more fuel to the fire! I join Pat,he’s got the ‘right’ idea.

……I used to have about 5 or 6 magazines coming in the mail plus the “Fairlane” club and my NHRA membership stuff , two years ago I dropped all the magazines and subscribed to “DragRacer” magazine , and I had to buy a new rule book too so I guess Ill keep my “Fairlane” club magazine and just let the nhra sub. run out this year ……………………….

Would you like a bike donation? It’s in sorry shape,a 10 speed,I think.A neighbor gave it to me and it has been sitting out in the weather for too long.(maybe good for parts?) I’m tiny,it’s too tall for me,so it never got used.Anyway,if you want it,it’s yours.

Thank you so much for the offer but the weathered and rusted ones are usually not good unless it is a high end bike ie. European or early Japanese……………… 😀 Don
