Here’s a Late day Coffee & Donut Weekly Update….My week basically stunk…We got Obama – Ford -GM – Chyrsler and wall street jerks killing the Little guy economy…Already finished off the coffee Pot and just finished pinstriping some flames on a Wrecker today…yeah-workin’ sunday .Got to do what’cha gotta do these days. But Do have two Race cars In the shop…New Bracket Rail going to Canada & a cool ’71 Monte Carlo Crate motor class doorslammer to do Old -Style. Rained half the week here -no outside work …so now we’re behind Ugh ! So What Did You Do ?
Had a funfull time last night at NETO’s 10th Annual Awards banquet,
there was some 1st for NETO, the group HONORED our first female Champion in our Nostalgia Class, Paula Nappi. Paula raced her corvette through a tough season. Vinny Laurita was the Comp champion, this was his first season with NETO, Vinny thanked Bobby LaRegina for all he did on the camaro. The woman of NETO presented their 1st MISS NETO honors to Chris Regan, Chris raced the full schedule this year in a ’63 corvette GT in Nostalgia class, next season she will share the driving again with her husband Art. The 108 members and sponsors in attendance had a PARTY of a time. AJ Sequen “WHY NOT RACING” was there with the latest copy of Drag Racing magazine with the reunion article, “AWESOME”, sorry Dino not able to get it away from him long enough to go to office depot to get it copied have to find a copy on the book shelf. 😆 😆
Now time to do the pictures from last night to get them out to the magazines.
