😀 😀 😀 Hey Guys…memories a lil’ “foggy” (this a.m.)…but my recollection wuz/is…the car was dark brownish…pretty “stocK’…borrowed from girfriend-brother…who didn’t have a “hint”…it wuz going to Dover… 😮 😮 😮 at the time the ol’ Carmel Ford wrecker was parked/used most every Sunday by tower…we towed this car (a “total”…for sure…it wuz a ’66-’67)… (seem to remember “Tink” Schaefer coming over to shop…to take a look Monday after his work)…(before somebody came up from Westchester to pick-up) back to Ford garage…young guy in question had to call his family…and “break…the news” 😆 😆 😆 …recollection from Hartsdale/Scarsdale/Larchmont area…”family” didn’t have any “shortage” of money…just surprise…and happy…no injury… (no roll bar/cage…as I said car wasn’t too “trick”…just new!) 😀 😀 😀 it also was not a killer engine/trans/rear package…maybe a 283/220 4-speed car…mono-leaf (?) rear…spring perch/shackle (?) broke…rear housing “twisted” at finish…”whoops”…and he “joined” the “up-side-down” club…’eh…one “unlucky-lucky” boy… 😀 😀 😀 Drake
