J K Motorsports Returns as our ‘TITLE’ sponsor, first to sign on two months ago…
I posted this info on him before last years race. . . .
Jerry Kozera…Former Dover Racer, ran Camaros and a Cuda Super stocker.He operates JK Motorsports, Inc. located in Fairfield, CT, which was built for as he states ,”the sole purpose of building horsepower through refinement”. He is an ASE certified master technition of 35 years and a veteran drag racer and current sport compact and competition eleminator team owner/crew chief. Known as the “Carb King” – Jerry passed the driving torch down to his son Greg Kozera, current driver an ASE master technition of 15 years.
Greg holds 5 current world records in competition eleminator and was the fastest V6 on the planet: 7.35 sec @ 178 MPH. until someone popped the record by a thousanth of a second.That, he says, will be broken by him & Greg big time soon.Check out his website for some neat projects he has in the shop.

MOROSO is back ! for the 7th straight year .My contact Thor-Promotional Head Boo-ba says he’s lined up Howard to bring the Moroso Racer Support Trailer & rig this year. We couldn’t get the Vette.( WHOOPS -Yes -The VETTE IS COMING!- Ricks Towing it up with his Street sleeper wagon) .. As a token of appreciation…I’m asking everyone to run Moroso Decals for Our Race-you’ll find them in your “Racer Info Envelope” with a bunch of other goodies when you go through tech.Hey- after the race, take ’em off ..maybe just put on a window for easy removal .Let’s say Thanks to the guys that make it happen.
