PA DUTCH CLASSIC Pictures 2012

Here’s some pictures from the Dutch Classic last weekend. It will forever be in my mind as
the event where Masracing went into the 6’s…You’ll see a couple pics of two “55 Chevy’s that
are run by a father and daughter team. One car in SS/OA and the other SS/PA. AWESOME ❗
Dad runs in the 11’s and daughter runs in the low 12’s ❗ 😆 The whole event is like a huge
car show ❗ 😛

You’ll see those “55 Chevy’s here. Because I owe a “55 Chevy, naturally I was drawn to
these two cars ❗ Believe me, I wasn’t the only one ❗ 😆

At the Dutch, they also had the Hemi Challenge which paid $4,500 to the winner. The low
Hemi qualifier was Tyler Hard with a 8.23. These guys always put on a show ❗ I had to
take a picture of a hearse waiting at the race fuel pumps… 😕 …Oh, Joe Tueton from La.
won and Hard from Pa. was runner-up in the Hemi Challenge.. 😎

Hey, I’m a Chevy guy, but I do have a sweet spot in my heart for these Hemi cars ❗ They
are AWESOME ❗ Here’s some more pictures from the “Dutch”…Check out this Falcon wagon.
Caught it on the way down from it’s rear bumper ❗ 😆

Frank,that one ’55’ Chevy two-toned blue and white,reminds me so much of Ralph Ridgeway’s ( DEB’S AUTO) C/MP 55,don’t it? Love that shot of that Falcon S.W. ready for ‘take-off’ 😮 🙄

Right Cakes..Ralph ran C’MP (Ridgerunner Ram ‘tunnelram’) ‘Dyno-tuned by Debs’…BUT he ran Chrome bumpers.see his and Moe Deluge story by putting “Ridgeway” in search…”it’s All Here Someplace”.

Cakes and Dino, you guys are right ❗ It does look like Ralph’s 55 C/MP. I was/am a huge
fan of Ralph’s. His 55 with the bubble hood and (stock looking) raised rear wheel wells. I
even copied that on my 55 that I raced at Dover and surrounding tracks. I’m not sure of the rules, but that kind of body modifications my not be permitted in the Super Stock class ❓
Anyway, every time I see a 55, I have to check it out ❗ 😆
