        Never Forget. I visited The Arizona Memorial this past March with my son who is a machine gunner in the Marine Corps. !-5 Bravo.
        My father also passed through Pearl Harbor in 1945 on the way to Okinawa.
        I then sailed with the 5th regiment – who were returning home from a seven mo. deployment – back to San Diego (called a tiger cruise, civilians can sail with the Military.) Nine days at sea with hundreds of combat ready Marines on board the USS America LHA 6.
        LHA – Landing, helicopter, assault.
        Wow, what an experience and perspective, gave me a whole new appreciation for the military and all that you Veterans have
        sacrificed. Thank you, Semper Fi.
