Great coverage and find by V Bob.I myself did some searching on the web a while ago;and on You Tube I found a clip on Island Dragway,in ’62’. The title is ‘Vintage Drag Races-1962’,by jdizze1. What I discovered,it’s got a shot of me racing my black 58 Chevy Impala conv. running a 61 Ford conv. about halfway through the film! You’ll notice small piles of snow,on the sides of the track,indicating the 1962 opening season for Island Dragway.It’s great to discover these ole videos of tracks we used to race on! Thanks V Bob and Dino!
