Just In From Ron Morehead…The Entire Morehead Racing team will arrive with son’s Lincoln And Ron Jr.s potent Stockers (win Big in Dive 1 AND the return of “TINY TIM” with Ron at the wheel of the Volvo that devastated Dover Stock Elim. Ron had some health issues last year,but is back to Run it. He brought it out from storage after 35 years ,for our first race at Island in 2008 and ran with-in 2 thousandths of his best time.Son’s almost wet their pants in the stands when he hit second gear and rust fell off the car. He’ll come out of the hole at 5 grand this year instead of 6 to try not to blow the rear.No replacement parts anywhere…he’s looked. A 9 in ford might be in the future.His new Morehead Auto Sales in Newburgh has some awesome classic Muscle cars and 50’s stuff.Ron jr. will be sending info I’ll post soon.
