Rich at M&M Speed just called…thinks he found what he calls a ‘WCFB carb’. not Carter …its a Rochester. Problem is -it is missing the tag with real part #. Used on Caddy -Chevy-Vettes in mid 50’s to like ’61. It has stamped on it RPGM and says “Rochester” . What should He look for to ID it? I’ll try to get him to photo it.
Dino,WCFB stands for “White Cast Four Barrel” Made from pot metal.I believe my brother’s ’62 Corvete had this carb.At one time though it had a dual quad set up. 😕
My friend has a ’55 chevy 2×4 set up, just missing air cleaner assembly. Has the these cards on it. Was thinking about going original S/S racing with a 55 chevy sedan, but he like the looks ofd it in his glass case better and a lot cheaper. Was offered some good $$$ for it. And the people who wanted it had the $$$$ in hand, not BS’rs. Few of them around today.
Also HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to ALL the mom’s on the site.
