The S & S speed shop of Richmond Hill, queens , NY supplied many parts to the Aurora 7 A/G Willys. The owner was John Stampfel. He left us some time ago. I am happy to say the shop is still operated by his two sons. They were cited as a great little shop by Hot Rod magazine a few months ago. I visited last about 6 years ago and enjoyed talking with two grown men that I never met 40 plus years back. The shop has changed little and is a pleasure to deal with.
I knew John Stampl Sr. very well the american mags from the MG came from them they cost $92. I went to Aviation HS with Johns sons John Jr. and Richie was in the same grade as Rich. S&SSpeed Shap always had ads in Eastern Drag News.
