Jerry Kozera…Former Dover Racer, ran Camaros and a Cuda Super stocker.He operates JK Motorsports, Inc. located in Fairfield, CT, which was built for as he states ,”the sole purpose of building horsepower through refinement”. He is an ASE certified master technition of 35 years and a veteran drag racer and current sport compact and competition eleminator team owner/crew chief. Known as the “Carb King” – Jerry passed the driving torch down to his son Greg Kozera, current driver an ASE master technition of 15 years.
Greg holds 5 current world records in competition eleminator and was the fastest V6 on the planet: 7.35 sec @ 178 MPH. until someone popped the record by a thousanth of a second.That, he says, will be broken by him & Greg big time this year.Check out his website for some neat projects he has in the shop.
Says he found his old camaro and its being restored ,but not in time for the race.( LAST YEAR -Maybe we’ll see it this year)..so He decided to build another one Nostalgia style
