The ONLY shot we have of Joe Kenney’s Nice Custom Paint…..AND right behind him in the lanes -same day ,taken a minute later, is his arch rival-Ronnie Morehead with The Behemoth. Ronnie parked the Volvo,and Got another Wagon to run him.

Steve is also the one that smartly saved the Aug.17 1969 Poster(Woodstock date) of our Fuel Coupe Gasser Show on that ‘memerable Date.Brian already has copied it and it’s on the way to Me …oh_boy,can’t wait…We’ll have reproductions available at the Race inAug! NICE!! Really great pics from Mr. Walsh. One thing I always loved about that era was the names cars were given…Carpet Bagger, Behemoth, Shake Rattle and Roll etc. You don’t see that much today. Although @ LVD an altered runs there called “Brains not Included” Kinda fits!! 😆

Ah yes…Dover was like a recycle bin for Race Cars…over the years a bunch just kept coming back with new owners. The Cars just liked the place!
