Thanks for the quick reply. I watched the videos and was blown away. My Cousin Tony Masella, Ozzie and I were on his pit crew for many years. They all called me Junior. My Dad owned Vic’s Amoco in Hartsdale, NY. Spent many Saturday nights prepping the Super Pumpkin for the Sunday trip to Dover. I waxed that car so many times that I knew every inch with my eyes closed. It was sad to see her go overseas but started a new adventure when Billy bought the ’69 Camaro. I remember seeing it for the 1st time in the garage on Tuckahoe Rd in Yonkers.
I have not been down in the area for many years and lost touch with everyone. I am sad to hear Billy passed away.
As Billy would say it was time for some racing music as we piled into his wagon w/ the Pumpkin in tow!!!
Hey Vic….I’ve always wondered what happened to you …..Glad to see you’re doing good……I spent lots of time with Billy the last few years of his life and he mentioned you and your Dad often…You should go back to the beginning of the DDS Site and go through all the stuff from and about Billy… 😀 ….Take care……..Don Kauer….Equalizer Camaro…..
Hey Don, how have you been. I have been living up in Warwick, NY. Lost touch w/ the old crew. Spoke to Rizzi last night for about an hour about old times. It was a shock to hear about Billy. We all get old for sure. Hope all is well. I am going to the the Run up at Lebanon in August hope to see you!
